Recently, The Spruce asked me to comment on my favorite design element in my home. Of course, I do love my home. But this got me thinking about some of my favorite interior designs in my house. What is the one feature that I love about those designs?

That Perfect Chandelier

Finding the perfect chandelier for a space can be a magical moment when the design and the chandelier balance and highlight the complete design plan. In my living room, this Baxter Italia Chandelier reminds me of the top of a birthday cake. Which is such a lovely topping for the comfortable lounge design.

2. The Most Comfortable Bathtub

Having a luxurious primary bathroom is undoubtedly an indulgence. However, I love the design of this tub with its depth and width. Some girls love to take a bath; I happen to be one of them.

I love living with color in my home. This “Pretty in Pink” guest bedroom is truly a guest favorite. The soft mix of the pink walls with the custom drapery and bed complement the overall design.

4. The Perfect Window Treatments

Window treatments are that one place you never want to fall short on the importance of having. Your window treatments look best when layered for a window to look dressed. Each layer adds another dimension to a perfectly dressed window. I love the feeling of these beautiful french linen draperies layered with woven wood blinds.

5. A Beautiful Outdoor Space on My Lanai

Having a place where I can relax and enjoy the botanical surrounding is essential to my creative process. In addition, growing plants and caring for them is therapy for my mind. As an avid gardener, I believe the more I garden, the more I grow creatively.
