The Hottest Looks in What’s New in Interior Design

Trends come and go. However, great style lasts for decades. So some of the newest styles are looks that we have seen before. Although, with a twist. The “Black and White” theme was strong. We have seen on tabletops and the frames of consoles—the use of different types of glass colors too. In addition, to black glass, hand-etched glass, and fusion glass.

Wood Themes and Mixing Metals

Shown was a natural and organic design style. As in this primitive style wood-cut console by Bernhardt Furniture. The look of a console front with carved doors, interior, and exterior details. Also, the wood finishes are getting warmer—the use of blonde wood, rich browns, ebony, and burled woods. The feeling was natural, biophilic, organic looks with live edge tables. They are mixing metals naturally. In addition, we see brass with brushed nickel. Black Metals with gold were very popular.

Color is Back- Blue is the New Neutral

The color blue has become the new neutral. There is a reason blue is everyone’s favorite color. However, green is making a big splash. The color green is a restful and relaxing color for the human eye to view. In addition, green symbolizes nature and the natural world. It represents tranquility. For instance, green pairs well with blue, gold, tan, gray, and cream.
