A Veteran Comes Home: How it Happened

What happens when a group of talented people gets together? Similarly all with a common goal in mind. The PIF Committee donated their time, energy and resources. For instance, each interior designer on the project brought with them their own design inspirations. And together we creating a beautiful and inviting home. As a result, we were able to make a house a home.

The Donations for a Veteran Comes Home

To start the three-bedroom ranch house needed everything! Therefore we reached out to our list of amazing vendors and talented tradespeople. Moreover, they not only made donations. For instance with all the furniture, lighting, rugs, artwork, flooring, etc. Also, all labor and painting were donated. They volunteered their time and expertise to help pull this project together beautifully.

The home’s layout was good. However, the bathrooms were small and outdated. Therefore we gutted and moved them. For instance, the master bathroom was a half bath. However, now it’s a fabulous bathroom with a walk-in-shower!

Kravet generously donated all the fabrics. As a result, we were able to work with our local workrooms. They donated their skills. Therefore we could have beautiful custom upholstered items through-out the house. For instance, the workrooms made all the gorgeous custom drapery. In other words, this included the master bedroom and also the living room and the dining room. In addition to the upholstered headboards for all the bedrooms.
